Mrs. Marissa Cerully graduated from Ursinus College in 2007 with her BS.Ed in Health and Physical Education and Exercise Science Degree. In 2010, she earned her Master's Degree in Education from Gratz College, and later in 2018, she completed her Principal certificate from Point Park University. Mrs. Cerully began her professional career as a Health and Physical Education teacher at Boyertown High School in southeastern PA. During this time, she enjoyed coaching various sports. In 2010, Mrs. Cerully married her husband Shawn Cerully and relocated to Duncansville. From 2010 to 2014, she taught at Penn Cambria High School before joining the Hollidaysburg School District in 2014. Mrs. Cerully taught Health and Physical Education at Hollidaysburg Junior High for two years before being appointed to the role of Dean of Students in 2016. During her tenure as Dean of Students, she pursued and obtained her Principal Certificate from Point Park University in 2018. Thereafter, Mrs. Cerully was appointed Assistant Principal at Central High School with the Spring Cove School District in 2018, where she served for three years. In 2021, Mrs. Cerully assumed the position of Principal at Martinsburg Elementary School. In spring of 2024, Mrs. Cerully transitioned to her new role as principal at Foot of Ten Elementary School. Mrs. Cerully resides in Duncansville with her husband Shawn and their two daughters. Mrs. Cerully believes in the potential of every student and is committed to fostering a collaborative environment with the educational team and families at Foot of Ten Elementary School. She is dedicated to fostering a well-rounded learning experience for all students.
